Today's music scene isn't what it once was. There was a time when kids played instruments (real ones, not just keyboards) to stay off the street and out of trouble. Wouldn't it be nice if children could kindle a love of music before getting corrupted by what's passed off as music today?

Ocean Voices - Museum of Science
As we watch the news about the oil spill in the Gulf, we're constantly reminded of the damage inflicted upon the way of life in the region. Perhaps now is a good time to remind ourselves of what's going on under the surface and our relationship to it.
