Secrets of the Silk Road

The time is upon us again. Museum season is in full swing bringing with it the fascination and wonder that keeps us coming back for more.

The Penn Museum (the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology) in Philadelphia is now running an exhibit called Secrets of the Silk Road. Likely the name takes you back to your high school history days when you learned about this area in Western China situated at the crossroads of the East and West.

But if that's all you think this is about, then you would be sadly mistaken. See for yourself by paying a visit. Open your Museums In Philly Android app. Select List Science and scroll down to University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. From here you can get one-touch navigation by touching the address. You can even call or email them by touching the respective link. Admission cost and hours are easy to see too.

If there are events you would like featured here in the other supported cities (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York & Washington D.C.), send an email with the museum name and exhibit to androidboy7@gmail.com and we'll make sure to get it posted.
